Free Books, Characters Come to Life at Story Town on Nov. 15

By amcdivitt1 - Posted on 05 November 2008

Hey, Tucson parents! You won't want to miss Story Town on Saturday, November 15, from 11 am to 4 pm in Jacome Plaza, downtown in front of the Main Library.
Meet Clifford, Curious George, and Maya and Miguel, or stroll with princesses and other storybook characters along Storybook Lane.
Kids love watching as volunteers and library staff dress up in costumes and enact beloved stories on the lawn.
This year's stories include:

  • Frederick
  • Bark, George!
  • Waking Beauty
  • Knuffle Bunny
  • Baby Rattlesnake

Children can take a walk on the Book Walk and receive a free book, enjoy live music and dancing, and end the day in a colorful parade around the plaza.
The event is free, and there is free parking in the parking garage under the Main Library.
Visit Make Way for Books or the Pima County Public Library for more information.
We hope to see you there!
