“Summer Chess”

Description:

Chess Camp with Coach Josh Leonard. Camp will be based on hands-on chess activities designed to teach how to use the pieces and tools of the game. New players are welcome from all grades, especially in Week One.

Activities include learning all the piece movements. Strategies and tactics of the game. Learning the squares and notation.

The Father to Father program is a 6 week open entry Responsible Parenting Educational Workshop. The program is designed to encourage fathers to become actively involved in the lives of their children. Any father or expectant father involved in raising a child is welcome to participate in the program.

Parents and friends are invited to IST’s next Parent / Community Workshop on Sun Safety. IST's Head of Pre-School Ms Brenda Loomis will review facts and figures on sun safety and the dangers of Arizona’s sun, and strategies on helping our children be safe. No childcare provided. RSVP
